Michelle was born in London. After completing a foundation design course at London College of Fashion, she went on to study jewellery making and design at the London Guildhall University (formerly Sir John Cass).

Michelle’s passion for pattern and colour led her to specialise in enamelling, which features in half of her work. In the rest of her design,s she works with a mixture of silver and gold, as well as stones.

Since graduating in 1994, she has run her own business designing and making jewellery, undertaking commissions and working internationally.

Michelle’s contemporary jewellery is very much influenced by nature, particularly the sea.

With her family and Luna the cat, Michelle lives in Kent.
